Setting Up Your HubSpot Profile Contact Views - Advanced
The left-hand side of a contact's profile in HubSpot is customizable, allowing you to view and update the most relevant fields for that contact for Member Marketing.
This advanced guide walks you through how to configure and personalize the left-hand section in a contact’s profile to easily view and edit essential details for member marketing.
1. Start by logging into your HubSpot account and heading to the Contacts section. Open any individual contact record by clicking the contact's name. Click the gear icon next to the “Actions” button. This allows you to directly access the customization options for the left-hand section.
Note: Once you do this once, it will update for all contacts.
2. Then, click Add properties to search for and include key fields you want to view and edit. Fields for Ensemble Marketing include communication channels, email, salutation, first name, last name, street address, street address 2, city, state/region, country, postal code.
3. You can either scroll or use the search bar to find specific fields. To add a field, simply click the checkbox next to its name to add a check mark.
4. After adding the fields, you can organize them by dragging and dropping properties. You can also remove any unnecessary fields by unchecking them or clicking the garbage can icon next to the field.
Once you’ve finished, click Save to confirm your updates.
Please note: only profiles with at least one communication channel selected will sync to Ensemble and receive marketing . Print Magazines refers to your print magazine allocation, Digital, and Direct Mail, can be assigned to all.
5. Once you're finished customizing the contact view and save, you will return to the main customization screen. From here, click Save and exit to apply your changes.
6. Once you return to the contact’s profile view, you will now see the updated fields on the left-hand side. To update a field, simply hover over it and click the pencil icon. After making your changes, the system will automatically save them.
