How to Remove Clients from Receiving Ensemble Marketing in the Profile Contact View
This guide explains how to manage your client's profiles to remove them from receiving Ensemble Marketing communications across specific channels—Digital, Direct Mail, Print Magazine—or opt them out of all marketing entirely.
There are times when a client should no longer receive marketing, for example, due to preferences or status changes. Follow this guide to remove a client from receiving marketing communications in HubSpot via the profile contact view.
Note: For Ensemble Marketing, please do not delete clients in your HubSpot account.
- Start by logging into your HubSpot account and heading to the Contacts section by hovering on the icon in the left-hand navigation. Open an individual contact record by clicking on the contact’s name.
- On the left-hand panel, scroll down to find the section labeled Communication Channels. The location of this field will depend on how they were set up in your account, but they will always appear within the left-hand sidebar once added. If you have not yet updated this section, please find the how-to guide here.
Note: Digital refers to email marketing. Direct Mail refers to solo-partner printed marketing pieces, such as postcards and brochures. Print Marketing refers to publications like Range and Range Best, or Départ. - Click on Communication Channels and uncheck the types of communications you want to stop sending to your client. If the client no longer wishes to receive any marketing communications, select the option labeled "Opt out of all" .
Note: If "Opt out of all" is selected, it will override all other individual communication channel preferences.
